How to enhance yourself and be more positive?

The lipstick index is considered as an index of the women moral… And this is in reason!!! Our psychologist friends think that red is the colour everyone will notice, and which symbolizes power and passion.

Here are 10 good reasons to use a lipstick to maximize your everyday well-being:

1. It’s an affordable luxury: it requires a small budget (for instance, L’Absolu Rouge is 15 times less expensive than a handsome leather handbag… a good deal!)

2. It brings pleasure during application: pleasure of putting on colour, drawing the contour of the lips, and feeling the stick delicately gliding on lips

3. It adds a “touch of chic” any outfit

4. It gives the power to be visible and invincible

5. It’s a real weapon of self-affirmation

6. It enables you to be beautiful

7. It consists of an easy beauty gesture that gives immediate results

8. It makes full part of the seduction array

9. It takes care of lips thanks to latest hydration innovations

10. It is a symbol of femininity…

As a conclusion, a stroke of lipstick is enough to keep control in our lives, and to get our hopes up while avoiding the calories of chocolate!

Have a lot of fun with your new lips style, and dare for this fall orange with the shade crazy clementine # 100 or pink with furious in fushia # 312 !

Aaron De Mey, our make-up artist, has been part of last Paris Fashion Week.

He has done all the make-up for Riccardo Tisci at GIVENCHY, one of the trendiest shows of the season!

He has reinvented the Nude make-up, to embellish graphic clothes with neutral colours.

- Construct your own Fashion Nude, by first applying a shade of liquid foundation just paler than your natural skin-tone. If you want the total look, add foundation on your eye-brows and try the hype “bleached” effect, for an enigmatic gaze.

- Open your gaze, with using an highlighter under your eyes.

- Add just a touch of mascara, black or brown; the closest shade of your natural colour.

- To finish your nude look, draw your lips’ shape with a crayon, and put a clear or light beige gloss on your lips.

As the winter comes, enjoy a sophisticated nude skin!!!

For the Lancome Nude Look, Aaron De Mey recommends using:

- Color Ideal, SPF 15, 010 Beige Porcelaine

- Flash Retouche, 001 Voile de Lumière

- Hypnose, 01 Noir or 02 Brun

- Contour Pro, 310 Rose Anémone

- Color Fever Bitten Lips Gloss, 254 Fairly Beige

The perfect lips make-up begins with moisturized lips.

1. Apply your chosen shade of lip liner

2. Define the “V” in the center of the upper lip

3. Follow the natural lip contour using short strokes working from the outer corners upward toward the center of the lip.

4. Finish with the lower lip, starting at the outer corners, working down towards the center of the lip.

The vintage glamour of red lipstick is back, but in matte for a more potent, pure statement and on top of it, lasting!. From Lancôme to you, here is the first matte comfortable texture, with a high deposit of pure color.

  • - To give a modern, every-day look: apply it in the center of your lips, with your finger.
  • - For a bitten-lips effect: blend it out towards the corners of your lips, with a brush.
  • - For a sensual pout: dab your lips with a little Color Fever Gloss Pure Gold over the pure matt red.
  • - For a sophisticated look: use a brush to apply the red
  • - For an even more sophisticated look: add a veil of gold eye-shadow from Palette Liberté 01, to ensure a velvety-soft finish.
