This charter shall be governed and supplemented by the Conditions of Use of the Site and, in particular, the provisions with respect to Discussion Spaces as well as User Content.
If you are already registered on the Site and you wish to contribute to the comments, it suffices to identify yourself by providing your e-mail address and your password. If you are not already registered, you will be required to create an account by registering on the Site.
The registration permits the other participants to recognize your various comments, thus personalizing the debate without revealing your actual identity.
We would like to remind you that in the event of non-compliance with the rules described in this charter and in the Conditions of Use available here, we reserve the right to suspend your access to the Make-Up Artistry Blog, in particular, if the comments provided are in conflict with accepted moral standards and/or constitute a clear disparagement with respect to Lancôme and/or its products and/or are capable of shocking consumers. In such event, we will inform you of this as soon as possible.
1. DISCUSSION SUBJECTS
The goal of this Make-Up Artistry Blog is to permit web users to describe their experiences with respect to the themes discussed by the Lancôme Make-Up Artistry Blog and to exchange their opinions on the cosmetics and products of the Lancôme brand. The discussion subjects treated thus exclusively relate to well-being and events related to the Lancôme brand: beauty, cosmetics, well being, brand events, brand products. To ensure the quality of this Make-Up Artistry Blog, we reserve the right to delete any comment not related to these subjects.
2. RIGHTS AND DUTIES OF THE READER
Any reader who reads a comment must comply with the intellectual property rights of its author. The reader must, in particular, ensure that the published comments are not reproduced and distributed in other comment spaces or on other media (in particular Make-Up Artistry forums or blogs), without the prior consent of their authors.
Any reader may, nevertheless, reproduce the content of a comment for the purposes of private consultation or reproduce and distribute short extracts of a comment, for the purposes of information or research, by citing the name of this Make-Up Artistry Blog and that of the author of the comment (actual name or pseudonym).
3. RIGHTS AND DUTIES OF THE CONTRIBUTOR
Each participant who posts a comment shall remain the holder of the intellectual property rights which are related thereto.
The comments posted on the Make-Up Artistry Blog are published under the liability of the contributor.
In general, any contributor is prohibited from publishing a comment (i) that is prejudicial, menacing, illegal, defamatory, non-authorized, abusive, injurious, malicious, that incites violence, racial, religious or ethnic hatred, is vulgar or obscene or infringes on the private life or image rights of others, (ii) that permits the identification of a person, in particular, by revealing such person’s address and their telephone number, (iii) that infringes on the rights of holders of marks, texts, photographs, images, videos, etc.
Furthermore, any contributor is prohibited from using the Make-Up Artistry Blog (i) for intimidating or harassing anyone, (ii) for diverting its purpose, in particular, by using it as a dating space, or (iii) as a vehicle for advertising or promotional content.
We request that all participants ensure they comply with the courtesy necessary for the proper conduct of the discussions in this space.
4. MODERATION
The Make-Up Artistry Blog is subject to a posteriori moderation, i.e. all of the comments are read after their publication.
The moderator will ensure that the comments are properly related to the theme of the discussion that is the subject of the comments, comply with the laws and regulations in force and permit a constructive exchange.
In particular, the moderator reserves the right to delete redundant, filthy, extreme, outrageous, defamatory, violent or racist comments, comments that are purely gratuitous or usurp the identity of third parties, and more generally any comment injurious to the rights of the person.
Comments that are in the nature of advertising or promotional materials, contrary to public policy or accepted moral standards, or that are revisionist will also be deleted as will comments intended for personal enrichment, and those, whatever their form, that are in conflict with copyright or related rights, the rights applicable to databases, the rights to marks, the rights to images, the rights against infringement of privacy or which infringe other legislative or regulatory provisions in force.
Finally, comments publishing non-public telephone numbers and/or e-mail addresses without the prior authorization of the persons concerned will be deleted.
The moderator will accept comments discussing the brand and its competitors, compliance of the comments with respect to marks being mandatory.

We would like to emphasize that we wish to leave participants with the greatest possible liberty and the goal of moderation is only to ensure the proper functioning of the Make-Up Artistry Blog and to offer everyone a space for constructive and considerate discussion.
5. ADMINISTRATIVE RULES
a. Referencing of messages
We remind participants that any comment published on the Make-Up Artistry Blog is capable of being picked up by a search engine and, thus, being consulted by a public external to the Make-Up Artistry Blog.
b. Archiving and use of archived comments
The Make-Up Artistry Blog holds and retains all of the data of such nature as to permit the identification of the authors of the comments and conducts private archiving of the posted comments. Such information will only be communicated to a legal authority that so requests.
The content of comments may also be communicated, on an exceptional basis and after being rendered anonymous, to a scientific research organization or university.
6. LIABILITY
We will use our best efforts to permit access to the comments, without, however, being subject to any obligation to do so. We may be required to interrupt access to the Make-Up Artistry Blog, in particular, for technical reasons, updates and maintenance.
