Make-up artistry by Aaron de Mey: create a made-to-measure complexion using two medium shades, before applying a delicate veil over the whole eyelid with the tip of the applicator or simply using your fingertips. Then illuminate the inner corner of the eye and the eyebrow arch with a highlighter shade. Finally, to sculpt the eye, blend the more intense shade from the lash base towards the lid crease.

Inspired by “Shaker”, the first pure red lipstick from Lancôme which was created in 1945, Aaron de Mey has created three variations designed around this most fashionable of tints:

. Rouge 29, a slightly blue blood red, swathed in mystery.

The very essence of Paris has been infused into this season’s blush: the silhouette of the Eiffel Tower can be made out, while a beautiful, typically parisian Art Nouveau streetlamp lights the cobblestone pavement outside the historical Lancôme Maison at 29, Faubourg Saint-Honoré.

As for colour, Aaron de Mey has created a universal harmony of tender rose, decorated with a delicate sprinkling of gold. Maison Lancôme.

Aaron de Mey’s tips: “blend the three shades with a brush, then use generous mouvements to sweep them up towards the temples, sculpting cheekbones and brightening the complexion”.

Use Ombre Absolue Palette A85. Apply the pink shade to the eyelid and the highlighter shade to the brow bone. Use the darker shade to create “doll eyes” effect. Illuminate the internal corner with the shade.

Use Artliner to draw three thin lines on the outer corner of the lower lashes to intensify the doll-lash effect!

Place the brush of Hypnôse Doll Eyes on the centre of the lash fringe. Let the brush glide over the lashes from roots to tips in a zigzag movement.
Use the tip of the brush to catch the small lashes in the inner corner of the eyes. Intensify the outer corner using the largest part of the brush to open the gaze. Then, apply mascara on lower lashes.

Use Blush Subtil to sublimate the cheeks for a healthy effect.

Use l’Absolu Rouge by dabbing on with fingers for a very natural and translucent make-up finish.

Finally, draw three thin lines from the outer eye corner under the lower lashes to subtly open eyes for an absolutely Doll Eyes “doll-lash” effect.
