Women often ask: which color should I put on my eyes if I wear a blue dress; or on my lips if my shirt is pink? Lots of us would like our make-up to perfectly match the color of our clothes.

Well, of course the result is pretty, but it’s not the most modern you can get. As always when you try to match everything perfectly, the final look can be a little bit (well, I won’t say boring but…) uneventful.
Of course you don’t have to wear blue eye shadow AND red lipstick with a pink shirt (except if this is your personal style); but don’t hesitate to use your make-up to add a little modern touch to your look. If you wear mostly neutral colors (brown, beige, grey, black or white), a purple or khaki eye shadow (Ombre Absolue A40 Chant de Lavande) would be great, alternatively, so would of course a deep red lipstick (L’Absolu Rouge in Idole).

If you have bright colors like reds and pinks in your wardrobe, don’t try to find the same ones for your lips: it will never be exactly the same color and the result will be better with a truly different color. For instance, Color Fever in Orange n°80 with a khaki jacket, or in Rock Icon Fuschia with a lilac shirt.
