I am born in Tauranga, a small seaside town in New Zealand. I studied Fine arts at the Whitecliffe college of the Arts & Design where I specialized in painting, art history, graphic design, sculpture and photography.
I moved to New York in 1998 to pursue my artistic work as a freelance make-up artist.
I have worked with the greatest photographers such as
Bruce Weber, Ines van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh
Matadin, Paolo Roversi, David Sims, Patrick
Demarchelier and Mario Sorrenti. I have also worked
with film directors such as David Lynch and Sofia
Coppola.
I am the New Lancôme Make-up Artistic
Director. I love Lancôme because there is a
tradition that grounds the brand, but in the same
time it is futuristic and high tech... and always
feminine.
LANCÔME IS MY NEW FAMILY.
