A few days prior to the shootings, I talk with the magasine editor to take my notes about the concept and colors of the pictures . If possible, I appreciate to see the pictures of the Model taken before. So, I can get prepared with the tones and colors that I will take with me in my makeup bag.

When I meet with the model, I also learn her hair style, her clothes, her expectations and observe her skin type, the perfect and imperfect part of her face. I decide how I can hide the imperfections and how I can emphasize the beautiful parts of her features.

When I start to apply the expected makeup style, it is also quite important for me to follow the Lancôme spirit and Lancôme makeup techniques. I also share my brands style with the model and the magasine editor.

The more comfortable the environment is, the more beautiful the results are… So, I prepare my makeup studio, my products… I first prepare my own hand and breath hygiene, then I start with her skin, cleansing, toning and hydrating which is too much important. Because, she can sweat during the shootings I prefer to use waterproof products, such as Hypnose WP, Le Crayon Khol Waterproof, Effacernes… Other than that, Teint Idole Ultra is one of my unevitable foundation. The brillance I get from La Laque Fever and L’Absolu Rouge Creme de Brillance depending on the color I prefer, are perfect for the shootings. I also like the textures of Ombre Absolue series, they stay long and differ from matte to sparkling choices…

Finally, I also makeup her hands and fingers one by one with Flash Retouche. All the models, I apply get fascinated with their hands at the end.

Spraying Tonique Douceur to the finished makeup for fixing the colors and latest Lancôme parfume to make her feel the luxury of Lancôme is my signature as a conclusion…

MORNING MAKE-UP IN THREE MINUTES

We are pleased to share with you as of today the video of make-up tips done with make-up artist Roberto Siguero Prieto and the Spanish blogger El Fashionista.

OK, calm down, everything will be OK ! You have an interview for a new job, I understand you can be a little bit stressed ; your make up is important, you’re right to feel concerned. But you will see, it will be very easy, because as you probably know, in this kind of situation, less is more.

Face :

As usual, choose a foundation matching the color of your skin (to check that, put the product on your jaw, not on your hand), and with a light coverage, like Teint Idole Silky Mat.

Apply some concealer under your eyes if you need it (lots of people think they have dark circles, but actually they don’t) with la Touche Pro (take it one tone under your foundation color).

Then powder all your face with compact powder that you can take it with you in your purse (Poudre Majeure Excellence compacte), like this you won’t shine even if you’re a bit nervous.

Choose a fresh and light blush (Pop’n Cheeks) that you apply on the apples of the cheeks (smile, and apply the product where it’s round).

Eyes :

Choose a neutral brown eye shadow and apply it along the upper lashes and in the outer corner (Ombre Absolue Duo My Dear Montmartre). Smudge it a little bit and apply a hint of it under the lower lashes (just in the outer corner). Apply the fair shadow under the brow to give light and open the look : this enhances your eyes without being too heavy or dramatic. Add some mascara (Hypnôse Precious Cells) on the upper lashes (except if you have very pale lashes).

Lips :

Just a touch of gloss (Juicy Tube Pêche), and not a glittery one – this one you keep for tonight, when you’ll celebrate your successfull interview !

TIPS FOR PLUMP LIPS

So, here is a great moment, you’re getting married! Congratulations!

Of course your make-up is very important on this special day; but don’t worry, you can even do it yourself and be the most gorgeous girl of the day!

First, apply a base under you foundation to make it last longer (la Base Pro)

Then choose a long lasting foundation (Teint Idole Silky Mat) and please, please, use it, as usual, the exact colour of your skin! No need to have a fake (yellow) tan this day.

You don’t know how to choose the right color? Apply a little bit of product on your jaw, it’s the best way to be sure there’s no difference between your face and your neck.

Then set it with loose powder if you have some (color ideal powder). If not, compact powder is of course OK, don’t worry for this kind of detail.

As you will be photographed a lot, you have to think about highlights, it’s important. Place some shimmery powder on the top of the cheeks (just under the eyes), on the nose (but not till the end, you don’t want a spot of light à the end of your nose on photos, and just above your cupid’s bow to highlight your mouth as well.

Then place a fresh pink or peach blush (depending on your own taste and color of skin) on the apples of the cheeks. Choosing a very fresh colour is important to look healthy and radiant on this day. Don’t contour your face if you’re not used to it, you wouldn’t recognize yourself in the mirror.

For the eyes, it’s really up to you! Don’t think that a bride should wear only “translucent” colours on her eyes; if you like a beautiful smoky, of course do it ! Just be sure that the shadows will be long lasting, by a hint of concealer (La Touche Pro) on your lid before applying your shadows.

It’s the day for waterproof mascara! If you feel lost with all existing mascaras, you can make a little test here (French version here) to know exactly which one is the most adapted to your lashes and taste.

For the lips, as you will talk, kiss, drink and eat all day long, I recommend a light gloss that you will keep with you and will be very easy to re apply during the day.

If you want to intensify your make up for the evening, apply a darker shadow at the outer corner of the eye, and eye liner!

Nails? Lots of brides wear pale pink nails, but as for the eyes, you choose, and if you want a deep petrol blue or a glittery polish, please feel free to be yourself!

In the morning I welcome our course participants. All participants are brim with enthusiasm with our training center. Also I am enthusiast every day by the vibrancy of our training centre and I am very proud to work here.

After introducing I give them an understanding of the philosophy and of the history of Lancôme.

After that I demonstrate on a voluntary participant, step by step:

• the perfect cleansing of the face
• the foundation, suitably to the skin type
• the concealer
• the powder after the powder, I show them
• the eye shadow
• the lipstick and
• the blusher

After the presentation the participants remove their make up and try one another, what they learnt.

To see their enthusiasm of our make-up is awesome every time.

My Love, my inspiration:

In general my big love go to the eyes, because the eyes are the reflect of the soul of every woman. Every woman has wonderful eyes, and the advantages should be accentuated.

I also love to use the products differently from their intended use: like eye shadow as a blusher or as a lipstick.

My favourite: perfect but natural teint with sophisticated eyes. Pointing the lips without overloading then with colour.

Lancôme is my professional love, I can identify very well with Lancôme: modern and trendy!
Always new products, an indescridable colour variety, a great Maquillage range, and quite new, “Trèsor in Love“. A sprinkling love.
